~New show announcement~
Wednesday September 26th @ The Good Hurt
We're excited to be playing at The Good Hurt once again.  It's always fun to rock on the West Side of town.  We'll be performing a few of our new songs at the show, so be sure to come down to hear them before there official release.   We have a slew of songs ready to drop for the Fall season.  Our next single, "Charlie Sheen" will be out in a matter of mere weeks!!  Check out the sexy show flyer:
 Principle shooting for our 1st official music video for the song, "Cali Coast' is underway.  Our very talented and visionary video director, Leslie Andrew Ridings, has been absolutely amazing to work with.  He has a very vivid style of filming, and overall is a very cool dude!  Check out some of his work at:

We're raising funds to help push the new album.  The video also features a sneak peak of a few of the new tracks the new album.

If you haven't heard of Kickstarter, it's a fund raising website for creative projects and helps 'kickstart' small creative business ventures.  We're looking to make a solid 'push' of our new album, "Lighter in the Shadows', and this is exactly the kind of 'push' we need.  We'd like to thank you in advance for any and all support.  We have some tasty Cold Chills merch and new CD's for allotted pledge amounts!  Be sure to check out our Kickstarter website for details.

Straight Trippin’

What a rip roaring' rowdy good time at 'The Trip' last Saturday night!! Noah Peters' live debut as our new guitarist was outstanding. Way to put it down brotha! Thanks to all friends old and new that were able to come down and Rock out with The COLD CHILLS!.

We were pumped up the whole entire night as the vibe was ecstatically LA. The pitchers and music were flowing as we performed 3 of our new songs from our upcoming album; "Parasite", Avalanche", & Mountain Sage". Stay tuned for the new album!! We've been grinding away in the Grimelab cooking up some great new spice for this home cooked stew!

FERRARI'S Birthday Jam!!!

Come celebrate with Ferrari and the rest of the COLD CHILLS next Friday Nov 5th @ a special 'Scorpio B-Day Bash'! We'll be playing along with 'The Horns of Happiness'& ''Alex Alvarado''. The party will be in Echo Park. Exact details coming very soon.... Stay tuned Kiddies and Happy Horrorween!!!

FEELING “IT” @ the GOOD HURT!!

And a Good Hurt it was!

Thanks to all that made it down to the show last Thursday @ the GOOD HURT!  We appreciate your support.  Oh what a night it was!  What a good way to rock the Summer away in Venice, C.A.

Before the show, Zeke, Kevin, & I and some of the early 'chillers' were getting primed up with some chilled tequila & lime along with some smooth cervesa while we were waiting for the rest of the gang to show up.  Ferrari & Rob walked in looking a little frazzled.  -Turns out that Rob pulled up & parked out in front of the Good Hurt on Venice Blvd. to unload his drums.  He put the Jeep Cherokee in park & opened up the door to get out, then.... WACK!!! ...Thump!! ...Roll!!!  A bicyclist slams into the door & rolls in font of them!  Luckily, the biker, Kyle Kimberling was alright.  Out of all of the places for this to happen, it happens in front of the Good Hurt!  And, there happens to be a bike repair shop next door, " Bikerowave"  http://www.bikerowave.org/ .

Rob invited Kyle to the show & was our VIP for the night.  He had a few drinks on us and & we made sure he was Hurting Good @ the Good Hurt!  After this whole ordeal, we were ready to rock the night away!  We were able to get a pretty sweet live video of the whole show.  The video for Ambush is up with todays blog.  Check back for other videos we'll post in the next few weeks.

A shot out to the band, Messenger, who closed the night off in style.  A rocking cool band out of Covina!  Their sexy lead singer was dressed up like a naughty nurse (which is what all the good looking bar tenders wear in the Good Hurt).  I thought she was a waitress the whole night, then she gets on stage and straps on a guitar!  What a rocker!!  Also thanks to Shannon Hunt & Michael Isely who got the night rolling.

The Cold Chills get “Hip” in Silverlake

What's up people?!

If you've lived in Los Angeles for longer than a week you may have heard of the area of town designated for the famed and oft seen "hipster" called Silverlake. The famed musical haven for said "hipster" is the Silverlake Lounge on Sunset and Silverlake Blvd.

Well, your boys, The Cold Chills,played this famed Silverlake Lounge. We put on our Buddy Holly Glasses (at least Kevin did...) ,Chuck Taylors and rocked the Rollie Fingers moustache off of every hip cat in the room!

There were some interesting and amazing people there all through the night.  There was a member of Bad Brains' son there, whom I had an interesting conversation with.  He was getting ready to go on tour with his pop' & Bad Brains over seas in Europe & Australia.  Turns out he's going to play a lil' bass with him on the tour.  Bad Brains has inspired me musically and personally through and through.  They are true pioneers of sonic and cultural proportions.  I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see them play there!  Thanks BAD BRAINS!! MUCH LOVE!! Go tear it up!

Thanks to everyone who made it down to the show last Saturday @ the Silverlake Lounge.  What a great time!!  Sharon Temple had it going on after our set!  Sexy, sultry rock tunes.  Good stuff!

We also had a wicked after party at Aaron's house that went on for way too long... :)

“Activision” secret show & Silverlake Lounge!

The COLD CHILLS will be attending a 'secret' show "Activision" is putting on tonight at the Staples Center, which coincides with the E3 expo going on in downtown L.A.. There are several rumored acts and performers who are supposed to be there (Maynard, Jane's Addiction, Chris Cornell, & Eminem to name a few). There has been absolutely no press about this event, so who knows what to expect!?!. It should be exciting!!

Come check out the COLD CHILLS' next show coming up on Saturday June 26th 7pm @ Silverlake Lounge!!  It's a fun Happy Hour show with drink specials!  Check the show flyer Zeke put together from an old Dean Martin photo! Kinky!!

Also, our friends, 'Tasso' are playing at Silverlake Lounge this Tuesday June 15th @ 9pm- this will be a great show!!

Summerjams…

We hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend!

Now comes the time to break out ya flip flops, farmers tans and summerjams! Zeke and Aaron had a magical and amazing adventure at Lightning in a Bottle over Memorial weekend! So many enlightened artists, musicians, dreamers of all beautiful shapes and sizes! Thank you for the inspiring experience!

The COLD CHILLS debut album is now available thru ITunes, Digistation, CDBaby and Amoeba Music in Hollywood! The Chills' are currently booking shows and will be making the rounds all over LA this summer! We have some great things in the works!
Be sure to check out our friends, the Swagger Sticks show at Mr.T's Bowl, in Highland Park. Along with Wormstew, Icky’s Ego, The Resonant Heads, The Ex-Gentlemen (Dave Parker from Bang Sugar Bang), DJ Fula Borg.
