It's kinda crazy how things fall into place. We've been saying for a while that we need a website overhaul. Not that version one wasn't great. It was very charming. Kinda like that car your parents let you use when you were 16 (at least if you were lucky to have generous suburban parents like the guy writing this). It works, but not exactly a Ferrari (The car, not our Bass player).

We were trying to do it ourselves, but for the sake of professionalism and Rob's sanity (cause let's face it, Rob would have been the one scrambling to get it done at 5AM) we made the call to find outside help, probably would have had to spend some hard earned money, too. But...

Out of nowhere we were contacted by Ashley Gregg from San Francisco.  She said she is starting has a company called Bull Shark Media, really likes our sound and wants to help us with our marketing. Of course we were all a bit skeptical. E-mails out of the blue like that are usually followed up with some kind of "I can make your band huge for 100 dollars," or something with a similar tone. There wasn't any of that kind of thing in hers, but it was still a little too random. So, we started communicating. Turns out Ashley's trying to get involved in the music industry. She already has a marketing background and is looking for a couple of bands to start with, pro-bono, to build her resume. The main criteria is that she likes the band, and she just happened to like ours after hearing our first album. God only knows what kind of crazy visceral effect "Lighter in the Shadows" will have on her. I'm not saying it's brilliant or anything (yes I am. That's exactly what I'm saying), but I think it'll be right up her alley.

So whattaya know!?  She's done a ton of work helping us re-write bios, submit press releases and helped Rob layout the new website!  This is just in her first few weeks!  Thankfully, we've upgraded from the Ford Taurus Station Wagon to a nice little Sedan. Maybe a Dodge Stratus. You'll have to be the judge.
